Installation & Removal
All installations include professional setup and seasonal takedown, with takedown billed at 35% of the original installation cost. If you’d like us to box your lights for storage, it’s just $5 per cardboard box of material at the time of takedown.

Clover Landscaping Ltd. – Christmas Light Installation Terms & Conditions
- 1. Installation Scheduling All installation dates are set based on Clover Landscaping Ltd. availability. Customers will receive an installation window (typically 3–5 days) rather than a fixed date. This allows flexibility in case of weather delays or other unforeseen factors. While we make every effort to meet the scheduled time frame, adjustments may occur.
- 2. Weather & Safety Conditions Our installers prioritize safety at all times. If snow, ice, or other hazardous conditions make a roof or surface unsafe, we reserve the right to postpone or reschedule the installation. This decision will be made at the discretion of our installation team.
- 3. Post-Installation Inspection After installation, Clover Landscaping Ltd. will test all lights, cords, timers, and outlets to ensure proper function. Customers must also perform their own visual and power inspection. Any issues must be reported within 48 hours of installation via phone or email. This includes, but is not limited to, concerns about bulb performance, cord placement, cleanliness of the work site, or timer functionality. We recommend running the lights for at least 3 hours on the first evening to check everything thoroughly.
- 4. Service Calls After 48 Hours Any service requests made beyond the 48-hour inspection period may be billed at a rate of $75 per hour, plus the cost of any replacement materials if needed.
- 5. Repairs Due to External Factors Damage caused by vandalism, severe weather, animals, power issues, tripped GFCI outlets, or faulty electrical infrastructure is not covered under warranty. Repairs will be completed at $75 per hour, plus material costs, and scheduled as availability and weather permit.
- 6. Customer-Supplied Products If customers provide their own lights, cords, or decorations, these must be on-site and ready before installation begins. If products are not accessible or power is unavailable for testing, a missed appointment fee of $75 may apply.
- 7. Pre-Installation Responsibilities Customers must ensure all power outlets, extension cords, and light strands are in good working order prior to installation. Clover Landscaping Ltd. pricing covers installation labor only and does not include troubleshooting or repair of customer-supplied products.
- 8. Reusing Existing Lights For lights not purchased from Clover Landscaping Ltd. or those outside of warranty, we can replace non-functioning bulbs (C9, C6, C7). Labor and materials for these repairs will be billed at standard rates.
- 9. Warranty Coverage Lights installed for longer than 3 months are not covered under warranty. No exceptions apply.
- 10. Approved Lighting & Materials All clips, fasteners, and installation materials must be new and supplied by Clover Landscaping Ltd. We install LED lighting only and do not work with traditional glass bulbs or non-LED products, including older icicle-style lights.
- 11. Deposits for Larger Projects Projects over $1,000 require a 25% deposit to confirm the booking. This deposit is applied to the final invoice.
- 12. Payment Terms & Late Fees Payment is due within 30 days of receiving the invoice. A 2% monthly late fee (24% per annum) applies to overdue accounts. A valid Visa or MasterCard is required on file at the time of booking, and overdue payments may be charged to this card.
- 13. Credit Card Policy Providing a credit card on file secures your booking and ensures uninterrupted service. This card may be used for missed appointment fees, late payments, or additional service charges as outlined in these terms.
- 14. Additional Accessories & Materials Any additional accessories or materials required beyond the original quote — including but not limited to extension cords, clips, timers, or fasteners — will be invoiced separately. These additional costs will be added to the final invoice.
